Collecting Prices

During each visit, you will collect pricing off of the posted menu boards. Prices do change on a somewhat frequent basis, so it's important that you double check prices every single visit to account for any changes.

You will collect prices on the following list of items:

• Beverages: Fountain Drink (Large)
• Beverages: Fountain Drink (Medium)
• Chips and Guacamole (Large)
• Chips and Guacamole (Regular)
• Proteins: Barbacoa
• Proteins: Carnitas
• Proteins: Chicken
• Proteins: Chorizo
• Proteins: Sofritas
• Proteins: Steak
• Proteins: Veggie

Chipotle also frequently introduces specialty proteins that are only available for a limited time. It's important to keep an eye out for any signs noting a specialty proteins. These items will be added to the survey as they become available. 

If your location does not have a posted price for an item, please ask to ensure they do not carry that item. Sometimes an item like large guacamole may not be on the menu, but they carry it and will give you a price if you ask.

For any items your location does not offer, you can enter a 0 into the survey.

In the event you are unable to read the menu board or can't locate a specific price (the location closed early, online-order only, or the menu is temporarily obscured), you can also check the Chipotle website for prices at your specific location. To do this, navigate to the Order menu, select pick up, and enter the address of your assigned location.

Entering prices is a part of the required data collection for this project. It is your responsibility to ensure you are collecting and entering updated prices each visit.
