Lululemon Categories

For the purposes of this project, you will collect data on the following categories. 

Women's 

1. Bras (sports bras)
2. Dresses
3. Outerwear (all jackets)
4. Pants (all pants including capris)
5. Shorts and skirts 
6. Sweaters & Sweatshirts (including hoodies)
7. Tops

Bras 

Dresses

Outerwear

Outerwear will include all jackets/outerwear, including lightweight pullovers, zip-ups, rain jackets, vests, and heavy coats. This is a seasonal category, but you will see some products from these categories year-round. 

Pants

Pants will include all pants, including capris. LULU also has casual pants, sweatpants, flare-legged pants, and body suits. All of these items will be categorized as Pants. 

Shorts & Skirts

Shorts & Skirts will include any variation of shorts and skirts. Rompers will also be included in this category. 

Sweaters & Sweatshirts

Sweaters & Sweatshirts will include hoodies, pull-over sweatshirts, wrap sweaters, and cardigans. It's important in this category to make sure you do not include styles that are Jackets. This is a seasonal category, but you will see some products from these categories year-round. 

Tops

Tops will include all tanks, short-sleeved, and long-sleeved shirts. This category will also include polo shirts and tennis shirts. 

Men's

1. Outerwear (all jackets)
2. Pants (all pants including capris)
3. Skirts 
4. Sweaters & Sweatshirts (including hoodies)

Pants will include yoga pants, joggers, sweatpants, and golf pants. 

Shorts 

Shorts will include any variation of shorts including sweats and golf shorts. 

Sweaters & Sweatshirts

Sweaters & Sweatshirts will include hoodies, pull-over sweatshirts, wrap sweaters, and cardigans. It's important in this category to make sure you do not include styles that are Jackets. This is a seasonal category, but you will see some products from these categories year-round. 

Tops 

Tops will include all tanks, short-sleeved, and long-sleeved shirts. This category will also include polo shirts and golf shirts. 

Categories we are not collecting data on

There are a lot of other categories at LULU that we will not be collecting data on. Essentially, this project is only interested in Apparel products. 

We will not be collecting data on: 

• Bags 
• Beauty Products
• Equipment (yoga rollers, yoga blocks, gloves, workout sliders)
• Hats
• Running Accessories
• Shoes
• Towels 
• Yoga Mats
• Water Bottles
