Late Data Submission Policy
We know that life can happen, and every now and again data might need to be delayed. However, with more than 1,000 data submissions every week, it’s incredibly important to us that late data be the rare, blue-moon exception and not the rule. So, we measure it with the Late Data KPI.
Here’s how to interpret your Late Data KPI score:
A score of 4 means your data is pretty much always on time.
A score of 3 means your data is mostly on time but there have been some recent delays.
A score of 2 means your data has been coming in late more often than it should recently.
A score of 1 means your data is often submitted after the deadline.
Late data is technically a breach of contract. But again, we know life can happen, and our goal is really to find solutions with each of our researchers. Thus, to find a balance that can work for everyone, here is our policy regarding late data submissions effective July 1, 2021:
Please notify Haynes & Company if data submissions will be late before you miss the deadline by submitting a support ticket to us here. We will then communicate a revised data deadline based on the information you provide and our internal client requirements.
If data for a project are received after the deadline as detailed in the VMS and without prior communication to us via a support ticket, your project flat fee will be docked by 10% and your Late Data KPI will be downgraded.
Continued late data submissions will result in removal of the project with us and possible contract termination.
It's very important that data is submitted in a timely manner. If you experience issues, please submit a ticket to support.
