Stock Levels
Stock Levels are less of an exact science and more of a gut check for how "full" the displays are. We will employ this method in Apparel and in Yeti - this lets the clients know are there a ton of displays/racks that are super full, a bunch of racks/displays/shelves, but they are sparsely stocked and there is a lot of empty space. For example, has inventory been pulled to the front of the shelf, but there is a bunch of empty space behind it.
For each category, you will choose one of the following options?
- Fully stocked: The rack/shelf is completely full. For Apparel, there is not much space to push inventory around, there are multiple items per size/style. For shelves, there is product all the way to the back.
- Normal stock: For Apparel, there are many styles available, with 1-2 items per size/style. The rack is full, but you can tell some items have sold. For shelves, there is some empty space where product has clearly sold, but there is still a lot to choose from.
- Somewhat picked over: For Apparel, there are some sizes/styles that are sold out, there is a lot of space to condense items. Think of this as 2/3 full on a rack or shelf.
- Very picked over: Missing multiple styles and sizes, minimal stock/inventory, ample space to condense items on rack/shelf. The shelf or rack has a lot of empty space.
Fully Stocked
In this photo, everything is in stock and there is no empty space. We see a lot of color and size options. Notice there is no space to condense items and product goes all the way to the back of the shelves.

Normal Stock
The racks in the following photo show a "normal" level of stock. There are several options for each style and size, and nothing seems to be totally missing from the rack.
Somewhat picked over
In the following photo, we have some product still left on the display, but also some empty space where product has clearly sold out. In the image on the right, you will notice the top shelf of the table is bare, and the bottom two shelves are displaying just a few clearly picked-over items. The second shelf appears to have been condensed, and you're able to get a better idea of the stock level.

Very picked over
As you can see in the following photos, these displays have minimal product left, and many size/color options are not available.
