Apparel Overview

For this project, data will be collected in both Women's and Men's.

Data will be collected for each Apparel category independently and the categories will vary slightly between Women's and Men's Apparel.

Metrics to Collect for Each Category:

• Effective pricing
• Percent of inventory on/off promotion
• Promotional details 
• Clearance details 

What we are NOT collecting

While we are collecting data on quite a few categories, there are categories that you do NOT need to collect data on. Don't do more work than required!

You can ignore the following categories:

Women's Categories:

• Accessories (bags, belts, hats, jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, watches)
• Beauty (hair accessories, makeup, makeup bags)
• Lingerie
• Maternity
• Sleepwear
• Socks & Shoes

Men's Categories:

• Accessories (backpacks, bags, belts, hats, jewelry, suspenders, ties, sunglasses, watches)
• Sleepwear
• Socks & Shoes
• Underwear

You can skip some entire sections:

• Kid's
• Baby
• Maternity
• Lingerie
• Home
