Counting Styles

For each Handbag Collection and Accessory Category, you will collect a style count. A style count is not an inventory count, but rather a count of the number of things that are different in each category. These product variations give us a good idea of the mix of merchandise available to customers. 

A style count is anything DIFFERENT, for example, the same bag shape, but in three colors. Or the same bag shape but in a Large shoulder bag and also in a smaller handbag size. Any variation of a product bag shape, size, colors, patterns, metals, or fabrics counts as a different style.

For example, the style count for the following Saffiano bags would be 3. Each bag is a different color/pattern despite being the same size and shape.

The style count for the following handbags would be 2 because despite being the same shape and color, the bags are a different size.
