A Quick Note About Outlets!
Outlets can be sneaky about promotions! They will often have signs in the window that say things like "Up to 50% off" all merchandise. This does not mean that everything is discounted 50% though, what it really means is that products are usually 50% cheaper than Retail.
It is important during Outlet visits that you are clear if these "promotion signs" are really just "hey look at our prices!" signs or products are actually on sale. Often, an associate will tell you if everything is marked down when you enter the store, but you can also easily just ask if anything is on sale.
If they say "Yes, the entire store is x% off", then collecting promotions is easy, you just select a storewide sale!
If, however, you only saw a table with a sign saying "All bags on this table $150," you would collect data for sales/clearance at a new price and collect the original price (from the tag on each bag) and the new price.
Not a promotion
If a tag lists the MSRP for your reference along with an "Outlet price," it is not on promotion. That is just the discount you get automatically for shopping at an Outlet store.
