Promotion Type Count

Each visit, we will ask you to collect basic information on any promotions occurring in the store. Note: For our purposes, promotions and sales are the same thing!

As you go through your data sheets by brand, simply count and enter the total number of each promotion type for each brand/category seen.

Common promotions you will observe are discussed in the upcoming steps. If you are not sure if what you see is a promotion, take a picture and/or notes and check with the Research Manager later!

For more information about the types of Promotions please read through the Promotions articles in the Basic H&Co Data Points Section. For this project we only need a count of the following categories, no need to capture what the Promotion is, just how many by category for each Brand.
