Clearance Section: % of Category's Inventory on each Promotion Type

For each category on Clearance, you will also estimate what percentage of the Clearance rack inventory was either a new price or percent discount.

You only need to provide an estimate; you do not need to count the inventory to calculate the percentage breakdown.

For example, say that you discovered a rack of men's 'tops' in the Clearance section, and by looking at the tags, you estimated that 90% of the tops were inside the New Price bucket of '< $9.99.' The rest appeared to be evenly split between the '$10 - 19.99' and '$30 - $49.99' bucket. You would record the following % breakdown in your survey: 

NOTE: the "% of Category in Clearance Section" will SUM to 100% for each category. This is different from the '% of Category's Total Store Inventory On Each Promotion' because this percentage only accounts for the inventory in the Clearance Section.
