Free Gift with Purchase​

This type of promotion is usually found on signage or big signs within the store. These type of promotions can happen less frequently and can be found in retail, department stores or supermarkets. The promotion includes specific items that the customer will receive for free after satisfying specific conditions (usually a specific dollar spend amount). Read signage carefully to understand criteria in order to qualify for promotion. Snapping a photo to refer back to later is always suggested!

Metrics to collect:

• Free gift
• Value of free gift (if information is available)
• Minimum spend or minimum number of items to buy to qualify
• How the promotion was communicated

In fine print on the signage below, you can see that the minimum requirement to get the promotion or deal is to purchase a 3.4 fl oz of fragrance. Therefore, our minimum amount to spend would be the price of the bottle of fragrance.
