Wall Racks
Wall racks can be attached to walls or to another display. We are interested in the individual arms protruding from the wall for the purposes of considering the definition of a wall rack.
A wall rack can present in a few different ways. It can be a display attached to an actual structural wall of the building, with the arms of the display protruding out from the wall. A wall rack can also be an arm attached to the "wall" of a display. The product is stacked onto arms, facing outwards so you're able to see the front of the item. On the left is an example of a wall rack you may find built along the structure of the store. This would be recorded as 3 racks of tops and 3 racks of bottoms. On the right is a wall rack attached to the "wall" of a display, recorded as two racks of bottoms.

Wall racks may also present in combination with horizontal racks. These displays will also have protruding arms, with items stacked on facing outward so you're able to view the entire front of the product. Count these as you would wall racks attached to a wall. On the left is an example you may find of this type of display. There are 10 racks of Notions, 5 racks of Tops, 1 rack of Bottoms and 1 rack of Dresses. The remaining racks would be counted in linear inches. On the right, is a similar example, showing 5 wall racks of Tops, and horizontal racks of tops along the bottom.
