Buy One, Get One (BOGO)
BOGO (Buy One, Get One)
BOGOs are when a customer is offered an item for free or at a discounted price if they purchase an original item at full price. BOGOS can be found at a new price or a percentage off.

For this promotion, you would need to collect what item a customer would need to buy, as well as what they would get. For our purposes, if you run into a buy one, get one free, this means the same thing as BOGO at a percent discount of 100% off.
Metrics to collect:
- Item category
- New price or % discount on the 2nd item
- Minimum amount to spend to get the promotional pricing
Below is an example of the table you would see on the survey.
If you saw a BOGO on Magellan Tops (buy one get the second one 50% off): We'd need to collect the number of styles included in the promotion, and the minimum spending amount - essentially the price of one top in order to qualify for the promotion.
