What is NOT a Promotion
Occasionally, stores will put out signs and shelf stickers simply to draw attention to a brand or a product. Please be sure to read any signs or stickers to make sure they are indeed promotional and not just "hey, look at this!" signage.
Here are some examples of signage meant to draw attention, but that are not indicating promotion. It advertises a "new" price or shows the store's "low" prices, but they are actually not items marked down.

Loyalty and Credit Card Promotions
Although technically a promotion, we only want you capturing data on promotions that are open and available to all customers. Therefore, any promotion that you must have a credit card, or must apply for a credit card to qualify, does not need to be recorded.
